Etude House HAUL & Review (Kissful Lip Care Lip Concealer, Vivid Pop Stick #3, Dear Darling Tint #2)

Hello everyone, this is the continuation of my Etude House HAUL & Review which I decided to publish in two separated posts.

If you've seen the first post, I did some simple reviews about "I'm Blooming" Special Care Kit and Juicy Pop Tube. Actually, those two items are given as Maarsja's birthday gift from me. It's not gonna be fair if I try out the product, so I apologize I didn't give further information regarding the liquid's appearance.

The products featured below will be all about LIPS.

I purchased these items at once because I was inspired with the trending gradient lips. To get this kind of look, you will need a lip concealer, lip tint / lip stick, and lip gloss (additionally lip balm for chapped lips). So make sure to check out my Gradient Lips Tutorial (tomorrow)!

Etude House HAUL & REVIEW :

♦ Kissful Lip Care Lip Concealer

Product Description :
Formulated with silicone coating powder supplies a moist adhesive layer that holds lip color cleanly.
Formulated with vitamin E derivative and mango butter for lip lubrication and nourishment.
Natural concealment of lip blemishes holds makeup for long lasting lip makeup expression.
Natural skin tone colored makeup conceals lip blemishes with smooth textured foundation that raises lipstick or gloss presentation and durability.

How to Use :
1. Apply the lip concealer onto lips
2. Evenly spread it with a finger throughout lips
3. Apply lip make up such as lip tint or lip stick, add lip gloss

How the product looks

A lip concealer is used to evens out redness on lips, creating a smooth and natural surface for long-lasting lipstick application. It's also useful if the natural color of your lips is rather dark as you can get the true color of your lip tint/lipstick when applied. If you have full lips, you can also use this to create a smaller look. 

Yes, just like a skin concealer, this would cover dark marks. Which means you can apply foundation on your lips, but it's much better if you use a lip concealer. However, it's not suggested for dry lips, so you have to keep the lips moist. 

How it looks on my skin

Overall : 
This is a perfect item if you want to try the gradient lips. It's gonna be the base as it's gonna give a skin color on your lips, so that the color of lip stain will stand out even more after applying lipstick/tint.  

Trust me you will need to use lip balm before applying the concealer. The concealer itself is very very drying, especially when you apply too much. I highly recommend you not to apply it like using lip balm (by glazing it directly) because it's gonna make your lips chapped and it creates dead skin (worst feeling ever).

♦ Vivid Pop Stick

Among all colors, I chose #3 "Just Dance". Basically this is my all-time favorite color which is reddish pink. At first I was considering to get either #3 or #6, but eventually I got this one instead. I didn't want pale pink, orange, or vivid red, so I think this is the perfect mix.

How the product looks

I really love this product in many ways. First of all, they offer many choices for the color (8 different shades) relatively pink, red, & tangerine. Vivid Pop Stick is a crayon lipstick, the stick is pretty long so you can use it in a longer period. The color is exactly opaque and long lasting. You can create varieties of shade even with only one color, although it depends on how thick and the way you apply it.

Overall : 
I LOVE THIS SO MUCH. It's really worth the purchase.
For you who love daring colors, Vivid Pop Stick will make your lips look more noticeable. The color really stands out. The packaging looks very cute, colorful, and definitely attractive. Suitable to create gradient or full looks. Add clear gloss on top of it for better appeal while preventing dry lips as well.

♦ Dear Darling Tint

Product Description :

Remains vivid color for hours.

Color fits to skin surface thinly to offer smooth and moisturizing hydration.

Pomegranate extract that contains full of mineral and vitamin. 

Volume :

4.5 gr

Color :

1. Berry Red

2. Real Red

3. Orange Red

4. Vampire Red

I chose #2 Real Red, because I didn't have any red lip stick / stain. :p

How to Use :
1. Apply lip balm and adjust lip line with concealer.
2. Apply tint from inside to outside of lip.
3. When it dries lightly, re-apply lip gloss to finish vivid lips.

How the product looks

Etude House Dear Darling Tint comes in a clear plastic tube, with a twist handle which is the applicator and the spongy tip is very smooth. It also has a slanted design to make it easier to apply the lip tint. This won't easily leak out of the tube. One time I dropped this and it was not tightly secured, but surprisingly it didn't spill at all (the handle was inside the tube, yet not twisted).

It gives a vibrant red color, and it smells like cherry (again idek how cherry smells). Although I didn't intentionally taste the tint, but you can somehow taste sweet-bitter (DO NOT CONSUME THIS). The consistency is more like jelly than watery. When you apply it, the color would absorb pretty quick, though not evenly spread. You can make the color more stand out by applying more than one layer. 

How it looks on my skin

Overall :

I wouldn't say this is the best lip tint, but it's affordable and gives vibrant color. As you can see, the color looks absorbed on my skin, for more opaque color, you should apply more than one layer, or lightly apply lip stick on it. 

The watery texture moisturized my lips so it wouldn't likely make your lips chapped. However, one concern is that the tint doesn't spread evenly. Maybe because it's absorbed real quick, thus it leaves stained patches on the lips especially the inner part. But this is also suitable for gradient or full look.
