Sorry I'm very late to post March OOTD, which today is the last day of March '14 ☹. We usually would shoot our OOTD in the middle of month (around date 10 - 20), however this month we managed to shoot by March 21st despite our individual busy schedule. 

But better be late than never, and at least it's still posted in "March" not in April. orz

I'm not gonna blabber much (like I always do) in this post, and let's just head straight to the point!

[M&M Cover] 2NE1 - Come Back Home (Unplugged ver.)

This is my third appreciation post of the week!! In this post, I'm just going to publish M&M's first cover video in our channel! ☺

You probably know that I have two YouTube channels, one is my personal, and the other one is a collab with my friend, Maarsja. Despite my busy schedule (and lazy ass), for now I don't really have time to manage my own channel, so I don't publicize it, then I'm thinking to start uploading videos every week after the IGCSE exam. However, I'm still featured in M&M channel. Actually, me & Maarsja are busy with our own school activities, but thanks to Maarsja she always had time to edit our videos. Also with "freaks", we managed to shoot our monthly OOTD video, which is always a pleasure and fun opportunity reuniting with them. ^^ 

Maarsja has her own channel of herself where she posts her cover videos there. 
She's multi-talented, she can sing & play guitar which is awesome. Since the existence of M&M channel, beside OOTD videos we planned to do cover videos also. So at first we were thinking what should we cover.. This early March, 2NE1 released their new song, "Come Back Home" and I fell in love right away (with the Unplugged ver.). Despite me & Maarsja are used to be K-Pop fans, especially Maarsja who's a Blackjack, I told her, why not cover K-Pop song? Since it's just released recently, our video might get more views(?). 

We tried to decide the right timing so we can meet and shoot our cover video ASAP. On Saturday morning (March 15th), Maarsja came to my house and without any practice, we attempted to shoot the video straightly. That time, she said that she hasn't heard the song and only tried out the chords in 2 days, while I didn't even memorize the lyrics. Well, the show must go on. We were quite in rush despite that we were supposed to be recording March OOTD that day. At first we recorded with Maarsja's camera, until the power of my house goes out, and the camera's ran out of battery. What a luck.

Since my name is related with a flower (Melrose), I'm always interested with floral pattern and other flowery stuffs related. Especially I was inspired by Superman Is Dead's "Lady Rose" song. Where the lyrics say,

Put the rose on your hair

Full of grace my queen of mystery

Can't you see, can't you believe

And all they say it's true

Lady rose...

Hah I wish someone would sing that for me..

Lately flower crown has been a new fashion trend which is getting so popular nowadays. You can see in tumblr a lot of girls/boys wearing various shapes or styles of flower crowns. I personally think that flower crowns are really pretty, it depicts simplicity, elegance and natural beauty. 

So I decided to get a flower crown ❀ !!

As you know one of the easiest way to find it is through instagram (considering that there are many Indonesian online shops in instagram). While I was searching with the hashtag, most of the flower crowns I've seen are all the same boring style which is too mainstream for me. The prices are relatively cheap yet still not interesting.

Too mainstream

I wanted to get a different one with bigger, colorful, pretty "real" flowers. I did find some other shops selling those kinds of flower crown, but obviously each of them sells different types of flower crowns with various prices & quality.

Anyway.. 

Enough with my blabbering.

March HAUL

As promised yesterday, this is going to be my first "Appreciation Post" for the week! 

"March HAUL"

 First of all, what does HAUL mean?

A shopping haul is a lavish or massive amount of items purchased in a short period / recently. It can also be referred to as a shopping spree.

Basically my haul posts will be featuring some stuffs that I bought in a month, then I'm going to post pictures of them and have a little review. It may not be a lot, haha I'm having such an economic scarcity. orz

Now what did I get in this whole March?
 I had my March wishlist which mentioned that I want flower crown, studs, and Etude House's lip tint + concealer. For the past 2 months, I have never purchased anything online considering that I used to order stuffs frequently back then. So I've been collecting a little amount of my pocket money everyday, didn't mean to have a diet because I ate less at school. Well, I was kinda expecting the fats in my body would reduce but sadly duh I'm still fat. orz

Since early March, I made a new tumblr that consists of mostly K-fashion (precisely Asian Fashion), and other hipster related. Despite my wonderlust instinct, I felt interested with flower crowns, those ulzzangs' gradient lips, and DIYs using studs.

I know it's gonna be hard to find those things directly in shops/outlets so of course the easiest way is to search in the internet and order online. At first I was a bit confused where to get them, the only sites I trusted (simple) are kaskus & some facebook shopping accounts. Lately it's getting complicated with facebook, while generally the range of stuffs in kaskus are somehow limited (for girly & hipster stuffs). Then I randomly opened instagram and by searching with hashtags, surprisingly there's a lot of accounts selling them. If you wonder where to get something that is not sold in shopping outlets, try instagram. The range is very wide, various of choices, easy, simple, and cheap. #NoPromo

Damn, I should have done this since 2010! Now I'm getting addicted with online shopping again. 
I. must. stop. spending. too. much. money.

Aand I bought a red tartan skirt, and ordered a turquoise canvas bag, yet unfortunately the bag hasn't arrived when I took the pics. Oh well, no worries then it will be featured in next April HAUL ;)
Anyway..
I managed to purchase the desired stuffs with my own money. Each of them I bought from different seller & ig account.

One Fine Spring Day

I feel like March seems to be shorter than February. So this is the last week of March and geez, April is just right ahead. The last remaining days of March are spent with my Term 3 school break, which is (supposedly) study break.
We got 10 days of break, I thought it would be a really great opportunity to update my social feeds, making videos, photoshoots, hang out, shopping, work out at gym, do my art supporting work, making notes, or studying for the exam.

Ironically my reality is always the complete reverse of my expectation. orz
Yeap as expected I did not do any of those things as mentioned above. I felt extremely unfit during the term break, I was literally dying and hiding my own existence. Someone thought I was dead, considering that I didn't update/post/like anything in my blog, instagram, twitter, path, youtube for the whole week. Okay, my health is fine, it's just that I've never been feeling that lazy in a long time. I was so lazy to do anything, to move, socialize, and even to eat. 
I was such a lazy sleepy head & fat ass. Right now imma chill with sloths.

So what did I actually do?

Internet. 
FAP. 
Sleep. 
Repeat.

Nah, everyday I'd just browse the internet, open tumblr, and reblog stuffs. Then I'd open instagram, going through random hashtags, and window shopping (online). The rest are basically stalking and judging people on facebook. During the school breaks, I still had to go to school almost everyday to finish my art supporting work (I know I'm not gonna do it at home with all the distractions #justlazy). Didn't study for next week exam.. HAHA fml.

Apart from this lousy week, a lot of (good) things happened in this March :

Mock Examination

Time flies so fast, doesn't it?

Term 3 has just passed.. Term 4 is coming, so is IGCSE.. 

This is just another hipster shot. #nerd

If I think through it, this month is going to be short and I can feel April is coming already. Despite my crazy (sandwiched) schedule for the next 4 weeks. Last week of time trials, mock exams, term 3 break (STUDY break), mock exams again. That's from my school, not yet my other schedule as my relatives and friends' birthdays which I might not be able to attend. #SAD

Well, I don't know if I'm going to study hard or what. Over the past 6 weeks of time trial, I have never studied any subjects at home. I barely focused on my studies at school, and starting to lost motivation. Some teachers alr scolded me for being less attentive (especially in Geo classes HAHA).

Hello March!!

This is my first post in March '14

sorry this is my first picture in March

First of all, I would like to inform you that probably starting from March until June, I'm not gonna be productive and post too often due to my IGCSE exam preparation. (Trust me, I'm still going to wander online because I'm just lazy.)

For this March, there are some new things from me :
