You probably know that I have two YouTube channels, one is my personal, and the other one is a collab with my friend, Maarsja. Despite my busy schedule (and lazy ass), for now I don't really have time to manage my own channel, so I don't publicize it, then I'm thinking to start uploading videos every week after the IGCSE exam. However, I'm still featured in M&M channel. Actually, me & Maarsja are busy with our own school activities, but thanks to Maarsja she always had time to edit our videos. Also with "freaks", we managed to shoot our monthly OOTD video, which is always a pleasure and fun opportunity reuniting with them. ^^
Maarsja has her own channel of herself where she posts her cover videos there.
She's multi-talented, she can sing & play guitar which is awesome. Since the existence of M&M channel, beside OOTD videos we planned to do cover videos also. So at first we were thinking what should we cover.. This early March, 2NE1 released their new song, "Come Back Home" and I fell in love right away (with the Unplugged ver.). Despite me & Maarsja are used to be K-Pop fans, especially Maarsja who's a Blackjack, I told her, why not cover K-Pop song? Since it's just released recently, our video might get more views(?).

We tried to decide the right timing so we can meet and shoot our cover video ASAP. On Saturday morning (March 15th), Maarsja came to my house and without any practice, we attempted to shoot the video straightly. That time, she said that she hasn't heard the song and only tried out the chords in 2 days, while I didn't even memorize the lyrics. Well, the show must go on. We were quite in rush despite that we were supposed to be recording March OOTD that day. At first we recorded with Maarsja's camera, until the power of my house goes out, and the camera's ran out of battery. What a luck.
We were panicking, after 30 minutes the power hasn't come back. Finally we decided to record with Maarsja's iPhone and did the cover. Of course it's not a perfect one shot. We continuously repeated recording our cover due to problems such as wrong lyrics, wrong tune, loud noises, and my ugly face. The fact is that we have more fails & bloopers than the final result. There are so many moments when we were just talking shits randomly, messing up, and joking around. But eventually we got the final video!! By the time we finished, we didn't have enough time to shoot March OOTD as Maarsja went home. Then we agreed to shoot it the next week together with Ivan & Vanessa.
Just a day after we recorded our cover video, the next day (March 16th), it's uploaded in our channel. We did share the video in our own social feeds, yet this is the first time I publish it in my blog, sorry it's kinda late here. :p
