Blue Valentine

Valentine's Day is just a harsh reminder that I'm a forever alone.

It's 14th of February 2014 which means Happy Valentine's Day everyone ♡ 

For this year Valentine appreciation post, will be themed as "Blue Valentine". The blue in this term is related to Stitch (my divorced husband. jk) and blue represents my sadness for being single again this year plus I just got broken heart. 

Sad enough? No, look at my happy face.

Stitch will always be my soulmate ♡

Summary of Mel's love stories (since 1998) :

❥ In kindergarten, I fell in love with Stitch from "Lilo & Stitch" since then I watched all Stitch's movies (excluding the animated series).

❥ I liked this guy when I was in primary 6 but he already had a girlfriend (he liked me in P3 tho)

❥ In early puberty, I flirted a lot (whore). In primary 6, I almost dated a fag.

❥ In JHS, another years of being single, while everyone's started dating or having relationship. I had no interest in love nor guys at my school despite the K-Pop effect. I was a die hard Super Junior & TRAX lover, I would marry them ahjussi(s).

❥ Middle of year 2012, I had love at first sight with a Singaporean guy, after AYC in SG. I fell in love with his smile and his charm (for being friendly, etc). We met at the day before closing ceremony, which means we had to separate the next day. I didn't even manage to meet him appropriately and I didn't even say farewell on the last day. My feelings to him remain for almost half a year. The problem is, I was so desperate, I never expressed/told him my true feelings (until now lol). Fortunately, I still have his contact now, and still communicating.

Conclusion : I never had a boyfriend nor been in a relationship (until now). Everyone thinks I'm lying, but that's the sad truth. (YEAH I ALSO WONDER WHY I NEVER DATE FOR 15-16 YEARS.)

But I rarely fell in love with guys, in 15 years of my life I only like 3 guys. I admit, once I like someone it would be hard for me to let go and move on.

Maybe that's because I always have bad luck in relationship stuffs. You can see everytime I had a crush on someone, it always ended with nothing, either he's already in relationship, or didn't like me back or he didn't notice my feelings. Or that's just my fate to be Forever Alone. Haha sad ya..

Anyway,

I found this year's Valentine's Day felt so much like FOREVER ALONE DAY. My friends got chocolate, roses, teddy bears, from their special someone or secret admirer. 

"Mel, did you get any roses?" "Oh yea, I already have one" "From who?" "Melrose." "What?" "Melrose, haha get it? #SAD"

What did I get?

A DENT ON MY iPod. WHY IT HAS TO BE SO FRAGILE IT ONLY FELL ONCE AND LEFT A LONG LASTING MARK just like my feelings. 

Okay, that's very deep guys.

HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA FUCK.

Also, I gained weight after eating sweet stuffs whole day. Luckily, I got myself Pocky and received cake, chocolate, & candies from my friends (not guys).

How did I spend the day? 

Studying, exam preparation, and we had to do our precious Math timetrial after school (4 - 6 PM). 

Very well spent.

This huge Stitch I got as my birthday present from my friends, 3 months after Valentine in 2011 ♡

Let's just face it. You might be single and lonely right now, but don't worry because somewhere out there someone is waiting until the right time to meet you. Not now, but someday you will meet your special someone.

For you single people, let's just be TOGETHER ALONE with me. Don't worry, staying single is not a bad thing, and you are NOT alone.

I'm glad that I spent my Valentine's Day with my friends and had much fun with them.

Valentine alone? Don't forget that you still have your friends and family okay :)
